This version of the ProMRDS Samples Package is for the July 2008 CTP of MRDS.
The Samples Package for July CTP is a DssDeploy package. It will only install into an installation of the July CTP. You can find details of the changes made for the July CTP on the Updates page.
The original version of the samples was designed for the V1.5 Refresh of MRDS. It will only install into V1.5.
The current version was built with the July CTP release of MRDS V2.0 using Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition. This is an interim release until the final version of MRDS V2.0 later in the year. Please report any bugs you find using the details on the Contacts page.
The software has been tested using Visual Studio 2008 and there are no known problems. You will however need to migrate the Solutions across from VS2005 to VS2008. This should happen automatically when you open a solution in VS2008. Once you have migrated to VS2008 you cannot (easily) return to VS2005. This will be the last version released as VS2005 solutions. If you have VS2005, you should upgrade to VS2008 as soon as possible.
